Hi! I'm Dave Govan, an Outdoor photographer based in the Pacific Northwest. My specialties include birds, wildlife, landscapes, and monochrome (black and white).

Photography is my passion, allowing me to Opt Outdoors and connect with nature. I strive to create images with artistic detail and emotional impact.
Here are some random facts about me:
• The first ‘real’ camera I used was my Father-in-Law’s Zeiss Ikon.
• I like Halloween (understatement) – We get hundreds of Trick-or-Treaters every year.
• I have a black-and-white French Brittany pup named Ansel.
• I like to cook.
• My bucket list includes visiting (and photographing) all 63 National Parks.
• I use Nikon cameras and lenses.
